Travel Information
Fly into Chicago-O'Hare International Airport

Fly into the Chicago-O’Hare International Airport just 10 short miles from the hotel and about a 25 minute drive. The average fare for taxi service is $25.00 one way. Bus and shuttle services from O’Hare are located on the ground floor of the elevated parking garage. The bus/shuttle center is the primary pickup point for hotel courtesy and Pace buses as well as shuttles for car rental agencies and parking. The center is accessible by tunnels from Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Continental Airport Express shuttles leave Chicago O'Hare International Airport every five to ten minutes. Tickets may be purchased at the kiosk outside of the International Terminal and at the lower levels of Terminals 1, 2, and 3 at the counters across from the baggage claim.

Driving Directions from the Airport to the Hotel:

Exit the airport onto 294 S to Interstate-88W and then take the Cermak Rd exit. Continue straight on Spring Rd and the hotel will be on the right at 1909 Spring Road. It’s that easy!

Chicago Transit Authority

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) carries over 1.6 million customers a day and their buses and trains can take you all over Chicago, including affordable transportation to the DoubleTree Hotel Oak Brook. When to Arrive, Weather and What to Wear

Registration and a Continental breakfast will begin at 7:00 am on Wednesday,
November 4 with the opening general session at 8:15 am. Follow the PPC Summit signs to the registration desk located in the foyer of the Grand Ballroom. You may want to stay for the optional Meet the Experts Reception that evening from 5:15 – 7:15 pm. Plan to depart after the last session adjourns on Thursday, November 5 at 5:15 pm.

Business casual dress is appropriate for all PPC Summit activities. We suggest you dress in layers so you will be comfortable during the sessions, breaks and lunches.

In November you may expect the weather in Chicago to range from an average of 59 degrees (F) high to 42 degrees low. Chicago receives an average of 3.4 inches of precipitation during the month of November.

Meals

Unlike many other conferences, your PPC Summit registration fee includes most meals. Continental breakfasts will be served Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 7:00 am. Refreshment breaks morning and afternoon plus a full plated lunch (not a budget boxed lunch) are provided on both meeting days. If you have special dietary needs please indicate this by responding to your registration confirmation.
